I might add that on the Dean Oakley site the horizontal scroll is iffy at different screen widths and I am not sure that it really adds anything positive to the experience.

You could get a similar effect using Carousel

The site you link to uses a jQuery based script for its horizontal scroll. Smooth scroll as you have discovered doesn’t do sideways.

Remember that jQuery and the FW native actions which are script/protaculous based dont play well together so best not to use them on the same page.

Hello!

I’m quite new to freeway and i’m attempting to create a horizontal scrolling website, which is basically one extra long page. I came across two problems:

I would like to jump to each section via anchors but the alignment of the anchor is on the right side of the page. Is there a way to modify that to the left side?
I want to use the smooth scrolling action for the anchors but it doesn’t seem to work for horizontal scrolling. any way around that?

for example i would like it to work like this: http://deanoakley.com/
