How wide in pixels in your Freeway page? Is it wider than the PC
screen size? Make your page only as wide (or fractionally wider)
than the information on the page. Then it will centre better on
smaller screens.

On the subject of accessibility, is it possible to do Access Keys using FP5? If so, how is it done?

I have just worked it out. If anyone is interested the way to do it is to make a text Hyperlink as you normally do, click on the internal tab select the page you want the link to go to and at the bottom left there is an Access Key option, type whatever letter or number you fancy. Test it and voila!

Bear in mind that there are some guidelines on how to use certain keys as pointed out on the link I posted the other day.

Uhmmm… Interesting they sound the same thing (I had to read it 3 times!). I’ll check that later when I have some time.

However, last night it occurred to me duplicating the first image and in the Actions palette; on the Initially drop down list apply Visible so the image would be visible when the page is accessed, however, if I remember correctly on my previous trials, the image will disappeared once you click on a different thumbnail; so, you would need a duplicate and apply Hidden on the Initially drop down list in the Actions palette.

I don’t if that would work as I haven’t tried it out, but to my mind it appears that it is going to work.

I’ve run through all the errors and it’s things I could change and then would have to re-change again whenever I changed the layout of anything.

Perhaps an update from Softpress would justify or rectify some of these errors.

I don’t think the page settings make any difference and mine is set to xhtml transitional anyway. What exactly are you getting when you say the results looks different?

If it’s of any help to you I could send you my example Freeway files so you could could have a good look at them. It is also important that your server has GD enabled which alows for graphic resizing.

I like your idea and it will come in handy sooner or later. In the mean time I came across another solution that worked just fine to get my project out. I found it on another thread
freewaytalk.net/thread/view/35249#m_35284. Go down to Joe Billings thread response. Basically you apply the Transition FX Action to each rollover and set it to Fade the item on mouseover or click-on with duration of 0, and no toggle. There is a link to a sample file on that thread. Anyways I really appreciate your ideas. I learned something from them.

Hey David!
Thanks for the tip, but it does not seem to work.

Is this the way to set a source setting that an image will be obtained from the web address?
very frustrating indeed …
:-(
Is there anybody having experiences with f2g an FW?
I’ve read some articles here from people obtaining similar problems by integrating the captcha validation in FW.
There must be a solution.

I considered to use easycaptcha, but unfortunately all error messages come in english only. thats why I want to use the f2g software. It allows even to add additional html codes in emails send by system … It is a great tool, obviously, but …
f… captcha :-)

If anybody could urgently explain how I make it work …

Thanks
Joerg

Never having used F2G for a captcha I am not sure but I suspect that you would

Insert>Markup Item

Position this on your page where you want it and paste in the code

img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/forma/script.php?formstogoimgflt=yes"

Substituting the relevant values. (This will then bring in the Captcha image)

FANTASTIC! Walter
Forgive my silly mistakes… what could you expect from a designer (after
all)
Many thanks again
Sam

2008/7/16 Walter Lee Davis <email@hidden>:

Ah. A simple and classic mistake. You have named all three functions
  myFunction. They each fire, but the definition of the function is
  whatever the last invocation is.

If you name each function uniquely, this will work. So in the second
  instance, you would name the function myFunction2, then change the
  afterFinish call to myFunction2, and outside of the function block,
  call myFunction2().

By the way, you could wrap all of this into a single function, too,
  and it would run all three blocks at once.

var myFunction = function(){
   var d= 3;
    $('a1').morph('background-color:#fecccb',{
           queue: { scope: 'a1' },
           duration:d
   });

   $('a1').morph('background-color:#ccccfe',{
           queue: { position: 'end', scope: 'a1' },
           duration:d
   });

   $('a1').morph('background-color:#3398cc',{
           queue: { position: 'end', scope: 'a1' },
           duration:d,
           afterFinish:myFunction
   });

   $('b1').morph('background-color:#feccff',{
           queue: { scope: 'b1' },
           duration:d
   });

   $('b1').morph('background-color:#cccc98',{
           queue: { position: 'end', scope: 'b1' },
           duration:d
   });

   $('b1').morph('background-color:#666632',{
           queue: { position: 'end', scope: 'b1' },
           duration:d,
           afterFinish:myFunction
   });

   $('c1').morph('background-color:#cccccc',{
           queue: { scope: 'c1' },
           duration:d
   });

   $('c1').morph('background-color:#cb9998',{
           queue: { position: 'end', scope: 'c1' },
           duration:d
   });

   $('c1').morph('background-color:#ffcb99',{
           queue: { position: 'end', scope: 'c1' },
            duration:d,
           afterFinish:myFunction
   });
}

myFunction();

That way you could just call one function at the end.
