iPhone Sites

Has anyone else done a site specifically for the iPhone?

While looking at my business site, http://t2studios.com , the iPhone sized it to fit. While that’s fine, I realized that my content was minimal and could be rearranged to fit the iPhone’s screen. So, I came up with a variant of my site that when opened on an iPhone shows text at full size.

It’s not perfect, but it works, and I wanted to be able to say that I did it. Ideally, I’d have one site that was full-size on the iPhone like this one, but scaled to a max width for normal browsers. I’m not happy with how the iPhone site looks on regular browsers. Meanwhile, my main site’s home page redirects iPhones to the iPhone site and leaves everyone else alone.

For those of you interested, you can find out more about iPhone development at Apple’s iPhone developer site.

*And no, I don’t own an iPhone. I own a car, and use that to drive to the Apple Store to test out the site.

Hi Joe,

I’m currently working on a site but it’s not online yet. I’ve been slowly digesting all I can regarding iPhone dev as I’ve taken quite an interest in learning how to develop iPhone apps specifically. I’ve looked at some of my sites on the iPhone and have been generally pleased with what I’ve seen so far which has fueled my ongoing interest in mobile web dev.

A good start for you. Hopefully I’ll get to where you are soon.
