non centered site on pc but fine on mac

Hi, my site, www.wadesettlesounddesign looks fine and dandy on a mac, but when viewing it on a pc, it’s off centered. Is there an easy fix for this?

Moved to the main Freewaytalk list from the Tutorials one as it is more appropriate here…

I take it you mean http://www.wadesettlesounddesign.com - right? :-)

looks fine and dandy on a mac, but when viewing it on a pc, it’s off centered.

Silly question - which way is it off-center? Is it to the right? And is the PC’s screen perhaps a little smaller than your Mac screen?

it’s off to the right, and any other site I bring up looks fine in the pc screen.

(I’m replying again to Freewaytalk area - the Tutorials list/group isn’t really intended for general-purpose Q&A, and you won’t get as much help if you post such stuff there.)

My suspicion is that your page is wider than you realise, and the Windows PC display is set to a lower resolution than you realise. The page layout is simply so wide that it can’t center itself neatly on the small display.

What’s the URL of the problem page?

How wide in pixels in your Freeway page? Is it wider than the PC screen size? Make your page only as wide (or fractionally wider) than the information on the page. Then it will centre better on smaller screens.
