SCROLL BUTTON ACTION left/right modification?

Using the actions SCROLL LAYER, SCROLL CONTENT and SCROLL BUTTON— I need to scroll my layer left/right, not up/down.

Is there a way do do this?

Can the scroll button action be easily modified?
