[Pro] Music on page opening?

I am building a photography site and noticed on other similar sites they have music playing upon opening, I have tried knowledge base and understand this can be done by simple drag and drop, my issue is that other sites have a mute and volume control in case the visitor doesn’t want the sound, how can I achieve this? Also, can I have a different soundtrack on each page? Regards Steve

You can just drag an MP3 file onto your FW page and on preview you will get a play/pause and volume control and it will start playing as it downloads.

I should say that is on a Mac - not quite sure what a Windoze visitor gets if they don’t have Quicktime.

They buy an iPod, and then they have QuickTime. I love this simple fact, the tiny little MP3 player that’s the camel’s nose under the gigantic Wintel tent. I think that this effect cannot be underestimated.

Also, it’s so funny that this thread came up today, because a musician friend of mine wrote me this morning to ask the same question, and I put up a quick demo for him done entirely with the Sound FX and Transition FX Actions. You can build your own player and have the interface be exactly how you want it to be.

Curious. This works in Safari and Firefox. But in Firefox if I click the red dot I get a ‘missing plugin’ alert and a sliver of ‘missing plugin’ visual rectangle at the bottom of the page.

Quick example - mp3 dragged from finder http://www.deltadzine.net/test/music.html

Did you resize the dragged/drop item on the page to make it long and thin? This determine how much of the player you see.
