[Pro] language interface

Hello, I need to change the language of the interface from spanish to english. Preferences doesn’t allow me to do this.

Does any know how to change the language?

Thanks,

nacho

Hi Nacho,

You will need to do this with the Finder, first navigate to the Freeway application, probably in your Applications folder. If you are using Leopard or below, Get Info on the application bundle and there will be a section for languages, just untick the ones you don’t want to use and it will run in English the next time you start Freeway.

If you are using Snow Leopard, they removed this section for languages so you will need to move some folders around, which is all that was happening in Get Info anyway. Right click (or ctrl+click) on the Freeway application and choose Show Package Contents, then navigate into Contents.

If you don’t already have one, create a folder here called “ResourcesDisabled” and then navigate into the Resources folder. In here you will find a bunch of folders with names ending .lproj, for example English.lproj. Move all of these .lproj folders into the ResourcesDisabled folder except English.lproj and the next time you start Freeway it will be in English.
