Pano2VR & Iframe

Hi. we want to place Pano2VR exported files into a FW page.

We’ve done this pretty easily in the past with a Flash file, but now with Apple mobile devices not doing Flash we need an alternative.

I have some sample files created from Pano2VR

A folder containing:

house.html
Images [Ÿolder]
skin.js
house.xml
pano2vr_player.js

the HTML page references .js files but I don’t know how to place these directly on the FW page. Is there an Action or can someone point me in the right direction how to insert these .js files?

We can control to some extent the HTML container, but it might be better to place the source files directly on the page??

Best wishes Peter

How did you arrive at those files in Pano2VR? Just wondering as I’ve not found a setting in Pano2VR which creates an iPhone or iPad compatible VR at the moment. What you likely need for those devices is an HTML 5/CSS/JavaScript version along the lines of Apple’s HTML5 demonstrations.

http://www.apple.com/html5/showcase/vr/ which works very nicely on the touch screens.

While I think it’s very possible to roll this up into an Action, I’m not 100% sure of the legality of taking Apple’s code and just re-purposing it at the moment, so I haven’t looked at it too seriously.

I tried the GardenGnome QTVR on my iPhone, and sadly, no dice.

Sorry, Peter, I just noticed - they have a version 3 beta which creates the files you mentioned.

Very exciting. Must put on thinking cap.

Hi Paul, I really look forward to the results of you thinking cap. And yes I’m pretty sure Dan produced the files with the beta, I’ll check.
