Presentations

Good afternoon my friends.

I have a question for you.

I have been asked to do a presentation for a web design.

I am so excited. This is for a county gvmt in the us.

Here are my questions:

  1. A mock.. How in-depth do you go or is it a one page “storyboard” feel.
  2. Presentation- what do you include? And what format?

As much detail would be appreciative.

Julie

is no longer there - do you still have that info?

Thank you so much

Ok, here is my secondary question..

how do you present this? and what info do you give?

I am planing 3 mockup = approx. 3 pages each = with an added flow sheet to outline some of the potential layers that are available?

Do you put the pages in a keynote presentation - or do you just attache the mac to the projector and show preview inn browser pages

Also what additional information screens should you show / give?

Hi Julie, whenever I’ve done presentations like this before I’ve just written a 2 or 3 page pdf from pages I’ve constructed in Illustrator/ Photoshop and or InDesign, Taken my laptop and a couple of sets of printouts along with me (mounted up nicely) and done a normal presentation, as if I was showing my folder of illustrations or whatever - nothing interactive in the slightest unless they’ve specifically asked for it.

I don’t know if this is the right way to go - I’m not a ‘big’ web designer - but for the presentations I’ve done it’s served it’s purpose.
